Apprentice carpenter Dylan Heaton recognised for top training award

Congratulations to Dylan Heaton, finalist in the NSW/ACT Indigenous Apprentice of the Year 2018.

Dylan has been a dedicated employee who has excelled across various disciplines, not just carpentry, for which he received his apprenticeship. The award was well deserved as he worked hard throughout his apprenticeship and took initiative to become more involved in the industry.

The Apprentice Employment Network NSW & ACT conducts Group Training Awards to recognise outstanding achievement in the vocational education and training sector. The awards reward and honour the achievements of apprentices, trainees, host employers and group training organisations.

Well done, Dylan, on such a great achievement in your vocational education and training. May your dedication and achievements serve you well in the workplace and enable you to continue to prosper.

Fill a Truck for Farmers

What started as just one truck from Lake Macquarie, evolved into an amazing story of support from all across New South Wales. Hundreds of people were present at Speers Point Park, Saturday 11th August, where there was no shortage of generosity for the donation drive. The Kingston Building team were proud to be a part of this campaign, helping to assist the drought stricken farmers in Rural NSW.

Kingston’s truck and utes arrived packed to the brim with animal feed and supplies, which were loaded straight onto the first truck heading to Coonabarabran. Thank you to all of our team for your kind contributions and volunteering your time to assist with loading on the day.
