Kingston Wins At The Master Builder Association 2022 Newcastle Excellence in Building Awards

At last Friday’s annual Master Builder Association 2022 Newcastle Excellence in Building Awards, Kingston Building was successful in winning the award for Best Public Building in the $8-10m category.

Kingston took out the category with the recently completed Hunter Warbirds Museum & Scone Memorial Airport project that we undertook for the Upper Hunter Shire Council.

The project involved design & construction of a 3200m2 hangar to display fighter planes from WW1 through to current day, and an adjoining 2 storey terminal building that includes a function centre, commercial kitchen and gift shop.

Congratulations to the entire team associated with the project. What an amazing project and a great outcome for the team!

Kingston Building was also recognised for other successful projects as runner up in each of the following categories:

  • Commercial Buildings Under $10m: Tamworth Aldi
  • Public Buildings $3-6m: Tamworth Aldi
  • Extensions, Renovations & Refurbishments under $500k: Redhead Surf Club Extension
  • SafeWork Excellence in Work Health & Safety Award – Commercial.

The quality of the projects delivered and the recognition received is a credit to the entire Kingston team.
