The ANZ Southport branch is what is known as a compact design branch of approx. 200m2. These banking branches are designed with a seamless fluidity to work into smaller retail space tenancies. Although these fit outs are small in area they have a very intricate design brief in prime retail locations found at many of your shopping centres and drop in neighbourhood community shops. The design and fit out of these types of banking branches work well placed in locations that are not only convenient for banking customers, but feel expansive due to the complexity of design and fit outs. Kingston Building has completed a number of these fit outs in both main road locations as well as in major shopping Centre entry arcades, which are very heavy with foot traffic. The planning of these fit outs is invaluable to the end outcome from a client, and a Project Management point of view.
The space planning in these functional fit outs is a key factor to ensure space is effectively utilised for ultimate customer satisfaction. Kingston’s approach to the Southport fit out working with the external Project Management team, was essential in being able to collaborate and assist in the overall planning and delivery to bring the project in, ahead of schedule. Working in a live shopping environment is sensitive to workplace health and safety risk identification, before and during each task along the project timeline. Because of Kingston’s Management and Safety systems, no stone is left unturned to be at the forefront of critical implementation of risk assessments throughout these types of high risk construction fit out projects.
