Kingston are proud to have delivered for the QLD Department of Education a state of the art performance hall for Moranbah High School in Central West QLD. The hall includes a performance stage and dance studio, entry foyer, canteen, change and costume rooms and data room.

The challenges that were overcome included the delivery of a $5m project in a remote location 2 hours west of Mackay, working in an operating school environment and maintaining consistency of work for subcontractors to minimize cost impacts to them as a result of living away from home.

Of major importance was to be a collaborative working relationship with the schools business manager which aided the success of the project. The project was completed within the contractual timeframes ensuring the school could use the facility for key functions and exam periods.
