Kingston Building was awarded the contract for the significant extension and refurbishment of Gloucester Hospital. This 12 month staged project commenced in June 2019 to significantly extend the hospital with the creation of a new hospital entrance, waiting rooms, Emergency Department, 4 bed wards and the refurbishment of the existing wards within a working hospital environment while not impacting health service delivery.
The works involve the development and implementation of a fast-tracked staged construction and handover program to achieve the project deliverables while minimising impact to the normal hospital operations. Works include the development and installation of hoarding plans to separate work areas from the normal hospital operations, managing IP&C and coordination of hospital service disruptions whilst completing a complicated hospital wide services installation and integrated fit out.
These values underpin how we go about our daily business and define the Kingston way.
We are committed to establishing and investing in long term relationships with clients, staff, communities, suppliers and subcontractors in the absolute belief that this approach creates the greatest value for all.
