Anglican Care are one of the Hunter Region’s best known and most respected providers of Aged Care. As part of their regional focus Anglican Care committed to a significant green fields project in Gloucester in order to meet the needs of both the community and the local area health service.

An existing aged care facility was located within the nearby Gloucester Hospital and with Anglican Care’s vision, a new 44 bed Aged Care Facility was designed with the aim of relocating the existing residents from the hospital to a state of the art residential aged care facility.

Kingston were engaged to build the new facility which included 44 bedrooms complete with ensuites, medical services & MATV, a commercial kitchen, luxurious landscaped areas complete with sandstone finishes, tranquil retreat and recreation areas and staff offices.

The project was built on a large 4ha site which required significant cut and fill to create the building platform. The building, which is a single storey structure incorporated magnificent landscaped elements bearing homage to the local environment and surrounding mountains.
