Kingston Building was engaged by ALDI Stores Australia to construct a new awning and plant deck at the ALDI Green Point store. This project involved a range of works from structural steel installation to hydraulic drainage and roofing. Well done to the Project Team, Nathan, Mark and Sam, for successfully delivering the project in a safe and efficient manner.

This project came with unique challenges, particularly due to the live car park and pedestrian access. Measures were taken to ensure ALDI customers could safely access the store, despite the construction. Additionally, power lines encapsulating the site boundary limited the use of cranes for material handling. To overcome this, we employed traffic control, Hiab trucks, and small tippers to manoeuvre materials within the site.
