Kingston delivered the Liddell Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Workshop & Warehouse for Enerven Energy Infrastructure Pty Ltd at the Liddell BESS Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW.

The project involved the construction of an approximately 520m² purpose-built workshop and warehouse facility supporting the ongoing operation and maintenance of the BESS facility. The building comprises a structural steel frame with Colorbond Trimdek roof and wall cladding, a 7° gable roof, 6.1m eaves height and approximately 5.35m internal clearance.

The works included the construction and fit-out of the workshop and warehouse, including a 25.4m x 4m cantilevered awning, roller shutter doors, personnel doors and windows, internal partitioning, WC and laundry facilities, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic services, internal finishes and pallet racking.

The workshop floor was mechanically prepared and finished with a Fosroc Nitoflor FC130 Clear Sealer system to provide a durable finish suitable for the operational requirements of the facility.

Kingston coordinated the construction works and specialist subcontractors through to practical completion, commissioning support and final handover.
