Building Servies completed the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the NSW Reconstruction Authority’s Newcastle office, delivering a modern, functional workspace tailored to the organisation’s operational requirements.

The project involved demolishing the existing reception area, internal walls and glazed partitions before creating a more efficient open-plan layout. The redesigned office accommodated an additional seven workstations and included a new enclosed meeting room to improve collaboration and functionality.

Completed within an occupied government facility, the works required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption. The scope included electrical and data upgrades, relocation of fire services, concealed floor ducting, specialist glazing, partition modifications, installation of a specialised door system, and painting throughout the refurbished areas.

Through proactive project management and close collaboration with the client and specialist trades, Kingston Building delivered a contemporary office environment that enhanced functionality while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
