Kingston Building was awarded the contract to complete the fit out and extension of an existing ward at the Lingard Private Hospital to create a new Sydney IVF facility in Newcastle.

The works involved the demolition of internal areas and external walls and construction of the extension to the building whilst the existing facility remained operational.  The works were required to be sequenced so as not to disturb the scheduled operations within the adjacent IVF clinic.

The success of the project was due to daily collaboration with the client and the successful implementation of a communication strategy which allowed coordination and programming of works around the operations of the existing facility.
