Kingston are proud to have delivered for the QLD Department of Education a state of the art performance hall for Moranbah High School in Central West QLD. The hall includes a performance stage and dance studio, entry foyer, canteen, change and costume rooms and data room.
The challenges that were overcome included the delivery of a $5m project in a remote location 2 hours west of Mackay, working in an operating school environment and maintaining consistency of work for subcontractors to minimize cost impacts to them as a result of living away from home.
Of major importance was to be a collaborative working relationship with the schools business manager which aided the success of the project. The project was completed within the contractual timeframes ensuring the school could use the facility for key functions and exam periods.
These values underpin how we go about our daily business and define the Kingston way.
We are committed to establishing and investing in long term relationships with clients, staff, communities, suppliers and subcontractors in the absolute belief that this approach creates the greatest value for all.
We recognise the critical importance of environmental sustainability including water and energy efficiency, pollution reduction, recycling and the implementation of best practice urban design principles to protect the future health and prosperity of the planet.
We take great pride in constructing quality buildings with exceptionally high standards of finish and client satisfaction. Kingston has received many industry awards for excellence.
